Rubber Duck to Convoy leader !

Ah, I remember it well being a truckers pup ! The A5/E70 from Bordeaux to San Sebastian, is like a trucker’s pit stop at times. Miles of trucks all moving at 90 kph, and most of the way if your over 3.5 ton you too cannot overtake. Alan goes from being over the weight (which we sure are ) to suddenly deciding we have jettisoned enough weight to overtake 3-4 lorries. As usual the driving standards on motorways and main road is MUCH better than UK, here they have lane discipline, and it makes Alan very happy – he says its like driving years ago when driver in UK had manners and driving skills ! (Were edging to a grumpy git bit if were not careful ).
Its just a beautiful site and must look fantastic when the leaves are out.

Anyway we have driven through quite a bit of light fog around the Dordogne basin and Bordeaux. Then it cleared and the sun came out and now is about 25 deg, and dads have put the aircon on for me. I also have a little delicate problem, I now have an upset tummy. Luckily when we arrived at site there were only a couple of caravans and motorhomes around, as I could not make it to the grassy area. Dad soon had it cleaned up with loads of water and the bit I hate I have had a large dose of kaolin (and I know there will be another later – I’ll pretend to be asleep I think !) Hope it clears up quick, I have seen a great crusty white loaf, just got from the shops and I wont be able to have any if I don’t get better soon and that goes for the rest of their dinner as well!
Its like my village back home but with mountains

As I look out from Priscilla, I can see we are just a few miles from the Pyrenees Mountains; we were at this site “Larouletta” in Urrugne, after we left Pamplona last year. It’s still as friendly, and obviously popular, as for the first time we are not alone. People are arriving all the time. I spotted that we must have English opposite us, so obvious as you will see from the first picture (A line full of Y fronts), which is the opposite to the French couple who arrived next to us. They set up, then got changed into new cloths to go off walking (or it could have been to a fashion show).
Out on my afternoon constitution.

I had to wait for the use of the laptop, they were busy with the ACSI camping site programme, there looking are where and in what order we do Spain, looks like down the middle or by the Portuguese border or some where, I will let you know our plans when they have finally decided and condescend to advise me. They forget I have many friends following our every move, information is important (but not as important as the 20 bottles of wine they just got from the supermarket – it appears)
Maybe get the Chateaux which is just a short distance up the road, last year it was a bit to wet to go there, So that’s it for now, soon be off on our constitutional, and then they say its time to slow down from the day – they will probably fall off the earth if they go any slower!
And then you turn the corner and this is the view ! Great Britains

Think of me my friends as later I am subjected to the shame of the syringe down the throat with kaolin.

It’s a dogs life…….
