Hello to all my friends old and new.
It's been a year (but it only seems like last week), since my last 5½ thousand mile jaunt. I have been out and about during the year with my dads, including a great trip to the Lake District. As usual I met many new friends, including a large group of visitors from India, many of whom found it impossible not to fuss me and take my picture (so I am now in many kids photo albums somewhere in India) My Dads said it was a special trip as it was sunny the whole time apparently something that’s rare in the Lake district.
Other short trips and lots of time spent between London and all my friends in Greenwich Observatory Park and the miles of fields around my home in Lincolnshire.
I have had my jabs and have got my dads to store up with my essentials, ( I just hope they remember all my food and treats but forget to pack my brush and fur spray - it is a holiday after all !)
So here goes - Lets see how far we get this trip, they tell me its down the French Coast (much the same route as our return journey last year) through the Basque region into Spain. We apparently are going to do Spain justice this trip, They have talked of Madrid, Seville, Granada and the mountains and national parks. Then up the coast from the south to the north, stopping off at Alan’s sister’s villa in Mercia before our journey will take us into France, to meet up with all our friends. Then who knows where from there, you will know as soon as they make up their minds
Our journey will start on Friday 01 February, after a few days in London, we have a Eurostar train booked at midday, so what do they say - "watch this space".
